Intuition & Logic is responsible for the design of the stormwater system and bioretention features. Stormwater runoff is collected throughout the site using a series of interconnected microdetention basins.  After passing through the microdention basins, two detention ponds store the water on site, before it is released at a pre-development flow rate to an existing coldwater discharge channel.  The discharge channel eventually outfalls into nearby Juday Creek. While the high groundwater table posed a challenge to the design, highly permeable soils were an asset to the use of microdetention basins, allowing the water to percolate naturally through the soils.
